| Graduation Day!
Yeah, I know it's living in the past, but for those in the family
and friendship who couldn't make it to the ceremonies, here's a quick snapshot
of some of the days' festivities. |
|
| Dr. Hetherington, the Director of UMKC Computer Science Telecommunications,
is completely suprised that I would graduate from his academic program
within his lifetime,or my lifetime for that matter. It was a pleasure to
remain employed by this guy for so long; even though I was a severe thorn
in his administrative proverbial paw. He never complained (in public.)
I will give him good reviews for listening to the students and at least
trying to do something about improving the antiquated educational system.
However, I still have a problem with his "Distribution of Archival Information"
theory for undergraduate programs. But overall considering, he's a super-great
guy.
Note the prized CST Coffee Cup and T-Shirt I'm holding. |

| This is my backup Mom and Dad. Both were delighted
to see me graduate, but Ralph is still a little skeptical of us 'educated
folk'. |

 |
And of course, Dr. B again. This guy deserves the "Most Outstanding
Opportunity-Opener of My Life" Award. He's the proud owner of a Silver
Tongue, a Golden Ear, and a Pickled Liver. Thanx Ken... |
